SKYE
Now 18, Thoroughbred mare Clear Skies came to us at 12, eight months pregnant. She and her also pregnant friend Starr were not purchased at a southern California sale and likely headed for slaughter, so we gladly gave home to both. Skye won $175,000 on the track and birthed four foals, the last one - Summer Skye - with us.
